Update on 1st August, 2009 - The 3 sets of auction bears were bought by anonymous bidder for a price of : $1650 - Duchess of Rosaria and Peach Bunny, $500 each for the other 2 sets of bears. Am glad they have found their new home......
This is my last set of bear for the Auction! Hurray! Finally finished it on 24 July 09, friday. Mrs Whitter is 18" tall with a scarf knotted into a rose and has a red ribbon with hearts printed on it pin on her right ear. Eco puppy is 7" by 9" tall when standing on her hind legs. She has on a swarovski pearl with a red heart pendant round her neck. Her 100% cotton cloth has words like " Think Green" or "Save Our Earth" printed on it. 2nd set of Auction Bear for CHIJ Kellock - Laila (night beauty), 18" tall finish 17th July 09, friday together with Clarisse (grace), 12" tall. They both have Japanese print 100% cotton cloth and polyester filling. Both also have a green set of crystal eyes. Laila has on a big brown felt bow on her head and a handmade swarovski pearl crystal round her neck. Clarisse has on 2 pink ribbons on her ears and a hand knitted scarf round her neck. This necklace is a re-thread. The beads were given to me in pieces and I do not have its original design. My girlfriend want it to be re-thread into a necklace so I have to re-design it. Extra beads were added to it so as to re-create the 1 brown beads in the center of the necklace.
This purple bear with cherry blossom print was just born today, 11 June 2009, Thursday around 9.45pm. This bear will be sold to June. Will give more update later. This bear weigh 270 gm and 12 1/2 " tall. I gave this bear an embroidery and heart-shaped buttons on its tummy so that it won't looked so plain on one side.
This twin of checkered print was born late yesterday, 7th June 2009 Sunday. The burberry print turn out quite handsomely while the silk green checkered also turn out quite good. They are both 12" tall.
Meet MAPLE : weight 370gm, Height 15" born on 17 May 2009, sunday. She has cherry blossom motif on her right body side. I use japanese beads for the stem branches and swarovski bicone beads for the flowers.
Here's BLOSSOM : weight 220 gm, height 12" also born on 17 May 2009, sunday. She has sakura motif cloth on her body, instead I sew the words on her left thigh. This bear is for my niece's 21st birthday this weekend. Hope she likes it. Her right hand has a bracelet with a lock and key hanging on it. See below for closer details.
